Is anybody home?
I'm back, finally!! I know I've been slacking for a few months and thank you to those who kept on visiting here even if I don't. I've been so busy for the past months and just don't feel like writing because I can't think of anything to write. What happened is we've helped my mother in law packed her things (actually the family's things) in the ancestral home at the family ranch since the place was up for rent and it was really kind of stressful for me because we have to travel over there every weekend for almost 4 hours and back again Sunday morning so I could go to work that same day. Whew, the travel alone wore me out so that's the reason why I turned into a couch potato and a tv person. No wonder I have gained so much weight because I don't really have a physical work now and everytime I come home from work all I want to do was eat, click on the remote and have a relaxing time surfing channels or watching my two now finished favorite Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor Season 10. What a low life, huh?!
Anyway, now that it's almost summer time and packing things in my MIL's house is all finished, I'm back to my old routine; gym, hiking Pilot Butte with co-workers (or sometimes all by myself when some of them are not available) and walking around the vicinity for a good exercise. So far the physical activities is helping and I'm starting to lose some extra fats especially on my hips (yikes, it's so awful and I hate looking at myself in pictures nowadays!).
I'm planning to enroll in a swimming class but I need to tone out my logs first (legs pala
) before showing them to everyone in my swimsuit
. I miss swimming and I still remember before I left the Philippines, I enrolled in a basic swimming class in Oakwood and two of my swimming classmates were my grand nephew and grand niece who were then 8 and 6 years old and they swim way better than I did (as in waaaayyyy better...). Papi's always asking me when I'm gonna do it but I always tell him a lot of excuses because I really can't bare myself out there with my bumps and cottage cheese on my logs, LOL! If others can do it, no way Jose for me!
Got to get up and do something physical again while the heat is not that bad yet. We're expecting a 95-100F temperature today and it's gonna be a hot, hot day baby! I'm glad to be finally back here and I will update some more juicy stories later.
Have a great weekend all!
