Some itsy bitsy kind of an update...
Today, I made it to the summit of Pilot Butte first time this year, woohooo!!!! The weather's been so nice these past few days and it feels like it's spring time once again. Having a mid 60F temperature (18C+) is really a treat because it's still considered a winter season right now and some other states, specifically in the east coast, are still having their bouts of snow storm right at this time. I met a few walkers and joggers hiking the butte today and it was really awesome up there especially on top of the viewpoint. It's funny because while I was on my way back, I saw a local Fox News correspondent taking shots at the foot of the butte. The correspondent approached me and asked me if I'll allow her to interview me and say something about the very nice weather we're having today. I immediately replied "no, thank you!". But after I said my piece I almost wanted to get back to her and say "I changed my mind, yes, I wanna be interviewed and be seen on local news!"
. Anyway, pagkakataon ko na sanang makita sarili ko sa TV, sayang!

I know I've been absent for almost a month in the blog community. I have been working my tail off and always mentally exhausted from work. But lately, I already have learned to handle stresses at work and I don't feel very much tired for several nights now. One thing that's catching my attention nowadays is reading a good book at night. I just recently finish reading Mitch Albom's "For One More Day" and boy, I can truly relate to the story. The story explores the question on "What would you do if you could spend one more day with a lost loved one?" I cried because my father had a sudden death, and on the day that he died I really disappointed him; he was asking me to do some errands and I just ignored him not realizing that that would be the last day he will be with us. Gosh! Why did I ever mentioned this book here, my tears is flowing like river while typing this! Anyway, the book is a must read for children who just take their parents for granted. Lesson is you should be very thankful to your parent/s and show how much you love them while they're still around because you never know when they will leave and totally banish this world.

It was our second wedding anniversary last Monday (12th). We just ate out for dinner then headed back home. In short, no special celebration because we're basically both tired. We're just planning to go somewhere this spring for some sort of a weekend getaway and not a long vacation because I still I cannot afford to be away since I'm just new in my position at work.
Hokei friendsters, 'til next update and have a good weekend all!!!
